The Bachelorettes Rachel Lindsay Ties The Knot With Bryan Abasolo In Mexico

According to a report from People.com, Rachel Lindsay and her fiancé, Bryan Abasolo, got married this past weekend in Cancun, Mexico, including friends from the Bachelor nation; Bibiana Julian, Astrid Loch, and Kristina Schulman, among them.

People Magazine reported a source as describing Rachel as the “epitome of grace and elegance” as she walked toward her husband-to-be down the aisle. Bryan is a chiropractor. Reportedly, Lindsay and Bryan got married while at the Royalton Suites Resort and Spa.

As fans of the couple know, Lindsay first came to prominence in the mainstream media following her appearence in the 21st season of The Bachelor with Nick Viall. She was given the title of “The Bachelorette” that year.

Abasolo, who hails from Florida, got the first impression rose during the 13th season premiere. During the final episode, he asked her to marry and presented her with a 3-carat engagement ring, designed by the iconic Neil Lane.

This past January, the 34-year-old and 39-year-old Abasolo revealed they would have a summer wedding. Speaking with reporters from People Magazine around that time, Lindsay said she and Abasolo hadn’t decided on a date yet, however, she did reveal it would be toward the end of the summer.

In April, Lindsay said to Page Six that she and Randi Rahm had been working on a dress together. Just before they got married, Lindsay partied in Costa Rica, while Abasolo partied in Miami, Florida. Abasolo joked afterward that he was “still recovering” it.

Previously, Rachel Lindsay actually revealed she slept with more than one finalist from the show. Reported by Todd Malm from Celebrity Insider this past week, Lindsay stated that she had sex with two out of the three finalists from the show, however, she didn’t reveal which ones.

Regarding her romance with Abasolo, Rachel said much of their relationship was fostered on TV, so for that reason, they’ve chosen to keep personal details out of the public from now on. Rachel Lindsay was the first African-American female to compete on The Bachelorette.
