Rictaysha Barnum Found Shot Dead at Her Home

Following a domestic violence incident in Crestview on Wednesday morning, a woman is dead, and her husband has been accused of murder.

The murder occurred inside a residence in the 100-block of Nun Drive at roughly 4 in the morning, according to Crestview Police.

Officers arrived and discovered Rictaysha Barnum, 31, dead inside the house after being shot.

According to police, her spouse, Crestview resident Camden Tyre Barnum, 30, was apprehended after being identified as the shooter. He faces a murder charge.

According to a press release from Crestview Police, “the events leading up to the shooting appear to be related with domestic violence within the home.”
