Bizarre Lindsay Lohan Stories That Sound Fake But Are True

Lindsay Lohan to the rescue — or not. The "Mean Girls" star had everyone questioning her actions when she went on Instagram Live to document her strange attempt to help a family of Syrian refugees. While we're not really sure what qualifications the actor has to question the family in the video, she accuses the parents of two young boys of trafficking their children. Lohan, in what appears to be some form of Arabic, pleads with the family to let her take them to a hotel — which is met by confused stares.

The 2018 video is believed to be filmed while Lohan was in Moscow, as the actor had posted a snap of herself in the country around the same time. "Hey everyone I just want to show you a family that I met, a Syrian refugee family," the "Freaky Friday" actor said, adding, "Tell me your story so that I can help you. What do you need? Do you want me to give you a hotel? So I want you to tell America what you need and I will get it for you."

The video ended in disaster, however, as the family refused Lohan's help — though the actor continued to persist. When the family begins to walk away, Lohan attempts to grab one of the boys' hands. A scuffle ensues, and Lohan's phone drops to the ground while the family leaves. "I'm like in shock right now, I'm just like so scared," she said following the incident.
