Darrell was a food blogger and ran the Instagram account Cook Suck. Labelled “internet food police”, he poked fun at meals that were unappetising.

Tributes have been flowing on social media with many commenting on Darrell’s last post on May 22 this year.

“The world and internet food policing will never be the same again. RIP Buddy. Thanks for all the mems and memes,” wrote artist Steen Jones.

“Can’t believe it man. Love you so much. You were the best,” commented author Campbell Walker.

Fans took to Twitter to share their grief for the food blogger.

“RIP @CookSuck. Thankyou for making me laugh,” one person wrote.

“RIP @cooksuck - you really blessed us over the years,” another said.

“Posting my sad lunch of microwaved leftover sausages in honour of @cooksuck’s passing. Still too early in the day to crack a Wild Turkey American Honey RTD to toast his memory. RIP to a legend,” another fan said.

Darrell’s cause of death has not yet been confirmed.
